In addition to adding a reference to your personal folders in
~config/folders.cfg, which I strongly recommend, you can also give editors
access to the protected files by doing the following:
Install Mixplorer silver from Google Play Store
Start MiX
Navigate to /storage/0 ("Internal Storage" in MiX)
Click on Android
Click on data
a prompt will ask if you want access
Agree
from this point you will be able to navigate to any apps file directory.
While that issue is fairly easy to overcome, there is one that's much more
difficult. If you want to use browse_j_ or xedit_j_, J on Android will
ultimately call
android_exec_am
where the Host foreign 2!:0 trys to send an intent beginning, 'am start '.
This has been failing since I installed Android 11, and has been widely
reported for lots of apps on the web. There are suggested solutions, but I
know from trying them that there are more Java changes needed than just
changing the text string given to 2!:0.
