This may be the way it's supposed to work, but to me it should work a little differently.
When a script is saved to a name that does not exist the date and time are set. But subsequent saves do not update the date and time. It seems to me that it would be better to update the date and time to the last save. I tried a similar test with notepad. First saving a new file then checking the date and time. Then later did a simple save (ctrl+s) of the same file. Since it was the same day the date was the same but the time was updated.
