If mono is installed, could I also request installation of IKVM (ver 0.8
works with mono 1.0). 

This will allow us to compile java jars to .NET CLR, and thus allow them
to be used from .NET applications. We've had some interest from our
users on these lines. 

I've installed the mono 1.0 rpm's which include a bundled ikvm rpm, and
that works well. Have no knowledge of the state of debian packages.
