ahhhhhhhhhhhh, yes! damn, sorry people, the kaffe vm was installed by apt-get so it went in the default path and since they have a "java" symlink I think that's what happened".
I will ge rid of those symlinks.
sorry about that (but I guess, only those who don't do anything don't break anything ;-)
