Heidi, This week is ApacheCon, and I am happy to say that many of the Incubator's members have been participating here. Including Leo and David, both of whom replied to your earlier message.

There is a difference between the Incubator's own site, and the project's. The latter is online at http://incubator.apache.org/${PROJECT}, and would be on the disk at /x1/incubator.apache.org/${PROJECT}, but does not go into the same part of SVN as the Incubator's site, nor be published using the same mechanism. Your mentor(s) should be able to help you out with the site mechanics, but a preferred way (unless you are using maven) is to create the project's directory (as above) and then maintain a checkout from source control.
