Well, Apache isn't about building things to fill industry niches -- it's about enabling developers to work on what they want and helping networks grow. So I don't think that already having N similar packages should be a bar to adding an Nth+1 effort. Which may seem at first to be at odds with my position in the not-too-distant ServiceMix brouhaha -- but it really isn't. I wasn't at all opposed to bringing in [another] BPE project, only to where it was originally slotted to land. Nor did I opine that it should be forcibly merged into one of the existing efforts; rather, that it should be an independent peer -- a competitor, if you like. - -- #ken P-)} Ken Coar, Sanagendamgagwedweinini http://Ken.Coar.Org/ Author, developer, opinionist http://Apache-Server.Com/ "Millennium hand and shrimp!" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iQCVAwUBRBHTJprNPMCpn3XdAQL7zAQAw9pvSBtXV79H/03Movfw5N3i5/QJgZ09 cwRKPYuALlemUY2soJyQpHztNF4nf+G+lDPPz2JciiMhJm8JZZ9sE7rQ/7yHK2QT domA5YYbbqGoP0jWlHp6J6gQVqNBkADvkmQ4eB74aGinoIy4ZqWzo3epySceBWiF WWzFm+vK2wc= =VKWU -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
