The source distribution should not include all the .gitignore files. There are several jars in SVN and therefore also in the source archive. It would be better to remove these, and update the build process to download them,. The archive even includes Apache Ivy, which can be used for this. Since Gora is an add-on for other projects, it seems likely that users will already have the necesary dependencies.
