Hi Mark, as Jochen reported, this is the original project donated to the ASF, under the signed Software Grant by Marc Andrew "Drew" Davidson, the original OGNL author. BTW I'll write as well to trademarks@a.o to clarify, thanks for suggesting :)
The difference with EL is in the OGNL definition itself: "a Java development framework for Object-Graph Navigation Language, plus other extras such as list projection and selection and lambda expressions" Alles gute!
