SooMyung Lee has offered to contribute a Korean morphological analyzer to the Apache Lucene project.
The contributed code is attached to the LUCENE-4956 JIRA issue[1], which is being used to track development of this contribution. The code with license headers added where they were not in the original contributed code is committed on a branch within Lucene's Subversion repository[2], at revision 1479391. "Arirang", from the name of a Korean folk song[3], is the module name that this Korean analyzer contribution will have within the Lucene Core product. The IP Clearance form for this contribution has been committed to the Incubator website.[4] Please vote to approve this contribution.
