Likely because podlings are not TLPs, so they have more freedom in where they put their source code before graduation. Once graduated, you HAVE to follow the very specific ruleset of the ASF as a TLP. Podling experiments going wrong is not nearly as 'deadly' as with a TLP. > > How does this relate to M.A.T.T.?
