I don't see a /Incubator directory at blogs.apache.org, so I'll be happy to
post the call under the "Foundation" blog if you'd like --this will point to
the full call published at the final Incubator page (currently at
http://incubator.staging.apache.org/2017-logo-contest.html) -- unless you want
the call posted on the blog and simple entry instructions on
incubator.apache.org with pointers to the call instructions on
blogs.apache.org. Any preference on that?
I'll be tweeting from both the @ASFIncubator and @TheASF accounts as well.

Hi everyone --I set up a test account and tried to do a submission.
It worked, but is non-intuitive for someone such as myself who is unfamiliar
with JIRA (well, I know what it is, but don't use it in my day-to-day work).
I'd like to combine the draft call that I created in October with the
instructions that John wrote so all will reside on the final page at
incubator.apache.org. Adjustments to the copy will be needed to ensure that
what we're asking folks to do will match the JIRA upload experience. For
example, I had originally written that we'd like submissions in both .pdf and
.jpg formats. I don't know if we can upload multiple images on a single "issue"
... so things like this need to get sorted out. Also, who gets notified when an
issue is created (as I'm supposed to be emailing folks confirming receipt of
their submissions). etc.
As such, I'll need a bit of time to work through this (and update the
schedule). I'm aiming to get this done today.
Please let me know if there are any problems/issues/concerns with my proposal
above.

The IPMC (and Press department) will be announcing soon a CFP for a new
Incubator logo. I'd like to solicit some input on a page and set of
instructions to follow to gather these submissions. The page I've put together
