Are there any reasons why that redirect should not apply to the whole website? 
(If not every podling and project website?)

Some projects have different language sections. I think podlings that differ 
from the standard pattern should provide the urls in their 
podlings/{podling}.yml file.

Sebb - you could then include download page analysis in 
https://whimsy.apache.org/pods/
