This is released. Let's just agree it was released. As far as the ASF is concerned, the files in the link above are the release. Not the pypi artifacts. They are a convenience for users. Can you create a new 0.42 release candidate instead of cancelling a release that is completed? It was completed when you moved the files to the location above.
