2 of the pages removed, the example is kept and jakarta-site2.xml is rewritten based on README.txt. For the two removed files, redirects to jakarta-site2.html.
Very little, if anything links to them from within the site. I've no clue if other parts of the sites link to them.
a number of these are pretty old pages and may well be linked from outside. i dislike 404's so i'm willing to add the above redirects (and will do unless anyone objects)...
Sometimes you've got to stop supporting a feature :) I'll leave the redirects for the jon pages to you. I think we should just 404 on them.
