The latest beta release of Tapestry 4.0 is now available. Tapestry is a component based web application framework that provides lots of functionality with minimal Java coding, and creates an environment that supports high levels of reuse. This is another a bug fix release, building on the beta-5 release. This release fixes a number of bugs with client-side input validation and user input focus. The LinkSubmit component and the Inspector subsystem were overhauled. As importantly, many gaps in the component reference documentation have been filled. Finally, a number of minor changes were made to move Tapestry towards general XHTML compliance. A full listing of bug fixes is available in the change log.
Tapestry is distributed as a combined binary/source distribution, and a seperate documentation distribution.
