Hi all, I am a linux user since a couple of years, av been using slackware as my desktop 4 a YEAR now,
I work in an educational centre at Irbid, we have a server with M$ win-2000-server, they use it for net/file/printer sharing but it keeps coughing and sneezing!! viruses every now and then and ya know :)
Although i teach English there, i offered replacing the server with linux, what distro do u advice, and what do i need (av googled about samba, dont know how to do net-sharing, they have a dsl)... by the way, am thinking of trying Gentoo, what d u think of this distro, and could it suffice for the job?
