we could make an .ijs script that takes as argument a script to run, and manages finding it, and informing the user where it was looking if it can't find it. Another solution to look for is crossplatform program installer to make the .pifs (and whatever linux/mac uses) for you. A windows solution that may also be available on Linux/Mac is right click context actions. .ijs files can have an "execute" association, which a "j runtime environment" could create.
