I concur... Since we are in thank you mode... My little anecdote: At the beginning of the month I had a little challenge and with J, grid, Tara and regular expressions I was able to build a small application in 1 1/2 day that was parsing two reports format, creating new enhanced data columns, flushing results in excel format and all of this using regular expressions to do exotic search and replace. J and it's related packages/tools/utilities can really do small miracles in the blink of an eye and all of this free... I was out of town, I downloaded the whole thing from the web and voilà...
