The simple fix of 0 return. after getserver returns 0 needs some additional code
to allow for offline usage once the catalog has been setup.
Good report. The errors should be simplified.
For off-line, did you try Preferences?
No I haven't. My comment re offline usage came from looking at the code. The
current code tries to work offline even if there is no local catalog copy to
work with:
Updating server catalog...
Connection failed: --08:12:30-- http://www.jsoftware.com/jal/j601/revision.txt
=> `c:/j601/temp/revision.txt'
Resolving www.xxx.com... failed: Unknown host.
Working offline using local copy of catalog.
