That is false. The primary verb p: accepts arguments
of any shape. You are envisioning an extra conceptual
layer, but that is unnecessary. This complicates
something that is in fact fairly simple.

Sure.  Works for me. Or not; the inconsistency strikes
me as trivial.

It does not seem to me that the informal (and
natural-language specific) names for primaries need to
conform to any standard. Even less do I think rank
should be a factor in the naming.

The whole matter of there being a significant
difference between singular and plural is an artifact
of English. There is nothing in J to fit this. Verbs
always work on cells of nouns. There isn't anything so
special about rank 0 vs higher ranks.
