I used to have the same problem and used to fix it by changing the font size (Ctrl+-) displayed by Firefox for those pages (box fonts then magically align!).
However then I found the following page on the Wiki that describes the problem in detail. http://www.jsoftware.com/jwiki/Typesetting/Box_Drawing_Fonts The first section (Font in CSS) suggests a solution for Firefox on Windows of specifying a User CSS URL in your UserPreferences. Using the CSS at the following URL has fixed the problem for me. http://openj.sourceforge.net/wiki/common/hivu.css > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of david alis > Sent: Tuesday, 23 October 2007 14:11 > To: [email protected] > Subject: [Jgeneral] Internet Explorer / Firefox - Jwiki - boxed output > > When use Firefox to read > http://www.jsoftware.com/jwiki/Essays/The_Essentials_of_J > the boxed displays of the results of the J expressions are > misaligned but okay in IE. > > Is there a setting in Firefox I should change? > > Regards > David > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
