I agree with Raul. The scripts in the addon stats/base/sampledesign.ijs can be used to generate data (or specimens in J Phrases parlance) that might be informative to analysts and more transparent than reading files for an early intro.
And btw, I was not able to use the J .ijx menu system `Open System...` to load the addon stats/base/sampledesign.ijs because the `addons` directory is not listed on my Mac.
