Just a little bit of trivia about the state of employment in these parts.
Back before the turn of the year, job anouncements on RMIUG Jobs (the
best IT job source in our area) were trickling in at 10-15 per week.
Now that I'm employed and don't need the service, the announcements
are running 30-50 per day!
The favorites are Oracle, Java, .net, and PeopleSoft with
Networking/Security for Win Servers and OutHouse Administrator holding
steady as well. Testers are in demand, too. Linux related jobs now
appear occasionally.
Maybe there's hope yet for the hordes who were dropped a few years
back when the Dot Com bubble burst.

it was the start of a new Arab world.... The Berlin Wall has fallen.
