OT.
I doubt that Bruce is trolling. Depending on the Email program, it can
be a less-than-automatic effort to keep on-list. In my case, I use
Gmail to group all of my replies from the list (general and linux) in
a folder, and Gmail nicely threads everything together WITHOUT
separating replies from a specific list. So, when I replied to Bruce's
post I didn't even notice that the list had switched. Also, if I
hadn't looked carefully at your post, my reply would have gone to you
Lonni, and not to General. Not being a list purist, it's a BFD to me.
OnT.
Not unless I hear a platform of substance that won't further undermine
our economy. ie something other than Hillarycare, raising taxes
(nearly always lowers actual revenue and drives the economy into
pre-recession), etc. In other words, you're right. There's probably no
chance.
More OnT from a mail that went to Linux.

<Don't you feel that misleading us into a needless war in Iraq when
<already fighting the real enemy in Afganistan,
I've actually read the resolution authorizing the war, and I didn't
find it to be misleading. If it was, then our representatives on both
sides of the aisle were misleading as well. The real enemy lurks in a
lot of places, not just Afghanistan.
< cutting taxes WHILE spending more than any administration ever,
Taxcuts good; reckless spending bad. Some of the spending is
unavoidable in wartime, but yes Republicans have gone overboard.
< raiding the treasury for political payback or self-enrichment,
I don't have a clue what you are talking about. I do suspect that this
is equally likely under any administration.
< blatant chroniism,
IE, politics as usual. I certainly haven't found any shortage of
cronies under Democratic administrations.
< unabashed taking of bribes,
Once again, no clue, unless you mean taking of bribes from the Chinese
and pardoning the guilty when you leave office. O wait, that wasn't a
Republican <grin>.
< and disregard for the constitution,
That's a lengthy topic with more than one viewpoint.
< to name a few problems of this Rebublican administration deserves
punishment? or is
< that too left wingbat for you?
< Those who watch FOX news do not hear the truth, believe it or not.
<sarcasm> As one other said, you need to go to MSNBC or CNN for the
truth</sarcasm>
I seldom watch any of the above. I get most of my information from
moderate right sources who include left-wing and right-wing opinions,
but more than opinions, also details that never make it into the major
news media.
What I hear in this tirade is the blame game. The other guy got it
wrong. I'm not going to present a coherent set of recommendations, but
the other guy is wrong, wrong, wrong.

Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code ... If you write
the code as cleverly as possible, you are, by definition, not
smart enough to debug it.
