Things slowed up here this A.M., too smokey to fly choppers. They just started again about 3:00. The wind picks up every afternoon in mountain canyons and blows upstream, as you boaters know. Yesterday was not as bad as the day before and today seems like it's not as bad as yesterday. We're under cloud cover and it is some cooler. Supposed to be a 20-30% chance of precipitation tomorrow or Wednesday. Just have to wait and see??
