Really, Lonnie?
In this benighted Labour-(read Democrat)dictated country it's now
around $11 a gallon (of course, some $2 goes to the company investing
and retrieving, shipping, processing and selling the
oil/petroleum/diesel, and the rest goes to shoring up the corrupt and
"tax and spend" socialist "Government").
The clever ****'s place "revenue" as a tax on every gallon shipped,
and then add VAT (Value Added Tax would you believe?) on the cost and
the tax when you buy it.
Brilliant, and this on top of the average wage earner's loss of 35% of
his/her pay in taxation already!
Think yourselves lucky!

There is not a country where TAX is not a major component of energy
supply and GAS/PETROL/DIESEL is the particular bone of contention at
this point in time.
Here in OZ we are paying around the $1.60/$1.70 per litre at the moment
and it will be $2.00 shortly. Majority of commuters will not use the
public transport its
inconvenient, yet willing to blame government and anyone else for their
woes. Will not give up their two cars and running of children to school
or whatever sporting
events they are taxi service for.
It is just starting to sink in that smaller cars and alternative energy
cars might just be a good thing, the average person me included can be
THICK.
