The roles that we are seeking to fill are:

*THE TECHNICAL TEAM*
We are a strong technical team who delivers quality software, using
state-of-the art technology. The software we release is bug free and our
clients (both internal & external and at all management levels) are
impressed by what we deliver. We operate in a team environment and we
receive good support from our operations counterpart.
To continue the expansion of our team, we are looking for smart and
motivated individuals to join our quality assurance and development team. As
part of this team, you will receive on-site training and an opportunity to
work in an environment that is both technical and customer facing.
*Development*
* *
*1) Database Administrator *
· *The role*
ú Reporting to the Software Development Manager, Carry out independent
research to help find solutions to the development challenges
ú Handle the complete lifecycle of an application from the process of
requirements gathering to deployment
· *The requirement*
- Experience in database administration, database design and ETL
Skills that would be required/good to have :-
- Experience in benchmarking and optimising SQL queries and
performing database tuning
- Experience dealing with large databases(preferably PostgreSQL
and/or Greenplum)
- Experience designing OLAP databases
- Experience building and maintaining ETL setups (preferably
built using Kettle (PDI) )
- Python language experience
- Java language experience is a plus
*2) Senior Developer *
· *The role*
ú Reporting to the Software Development Manager, you will be required
to lead a team of developers in assigned programming tasks
ú Carry out independent research to help find solutions to the
development challenges
ú Handle the complete lifecycle of an application from the process of
requirements gathering to deployment
· *The requirement*
ú Experience in leading a team of developers required
ú Experience in using ticket management systems (Trac or Bugzilla),
source control management systems (svn, cvs, bzr or git) is a plus
ú Experience in agile development methodologies (SCRUM, XP, Crystal)
is a huge plus
ú Knowledge of PHP, HTML, JavaScript and SQL is a must
ú Knowledge of Ruby, Python, Java is considered a major plus
ú Familiarity with MVC Web Application Architecture is a major plus
ú If you have experience contributing (in a reasonably substantial
role) to open source projects, we will hire you on the spot
ú At least 2-3 years experience
ú Ability to inject experience into a team, either from a development
methodology standpoint or from a technology standpoint
ú Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English
*3) Developer*
· *The role*
ú Reporting to the Senior Developer, you will be required to work with
team of developers in assigned programming tasks
ú Be able to contribute in any stage of the software development
lifecycle from the process of requirements gathering to deployment
· *The requirement*
ú Passionate and enthusiastic about using open source technology
ú Experience in Web Applications
ú Possess general knowledge of the technologies utilized by web
development.
ú Knowledge of PHP, HTML, JavaScript and SQL is a plus
ú Knowledge of Ruby, Python is considered a major plus
ú Familiarity with MVC Web Application Architecture is a plus
ú Those who are interested in learning new languages such as Python,
Ruby or Java should apply without delay
ú Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English
*4) Web/User Interface Designer(Senior)*
You will be:
- developing visualization widgets and dashboards
- designing functional and elegant websites and user interface
- occasionally, designing marketing collaterals e.g. brochures,
presentations, et alia.
You should have:
- a keen artistic eye for designing clean, modern websites
- a solid understanding of web usability principles and standards
(including table-less css-based designs)
- a strong design and typographical sense
- ability to work independently as well as communicate effectively
to different levels of management to get task done.
Skills needed
- Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
- HTML/CSS
- Javascript/AJAX (libraries like jQuery, Prototype, Yahoo! UI, et.
alia)

*5) Assistant Designer (Marketing Division)*
*Responsibilities:*
- Work with the Marketing Lead to execute quality visual design work for
online (websites) and offline (brochures, flyers, presentations, et alia.)
marketing materials as necessary and in alignment with the company's
standards
- Effectively conceptualize and communicate requirements
- Participate constructively in inter-department communications
- Provide administrative support to the Sales & Marketing department
- Ad Hoc duties as required
*Pre-requisites:*
- Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, Acrobat
- Ability to produce creative and excellent design work
- Solid foundation in typography, layout, and general design
- High attention to detail
- Deep understanding of tools, trends, and foundation
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skill (preferably in English)
- Ability to function independently and in a team environment
- Has a sound understanding of HTML, CSS, web standards, and capabilities
of web browsers
- Nice to haves:
- Knowledge and/or experience with Flash(animation and action
scripting),
- Knowledge and/or experience with CMS (WordPress, Drupal,
ExpressionEngine)
- Knowledge and/or experience with mobile web development
- Knowledge and/or experience with social media tools, SEO, SEM
