Thanks Kenneth! But if we can get a venue for free, monetary sponsorship would not really be an issue. I think at this stage it would be great if there are more people who can help by managing contacts like if we're ordering t-shirts or maintaining the website or liaising with speakers. These things do not need us to be on the ground and in Malaysia (I am not in Malaysia too). There are also a matter of being a speaker and also attending the actual PyCon too, which will be great if you can too!
