OFED-1.2 use the source link within /lib/modules/kernel-x.x.x and this points into /usr/src/kernel this kernelsources were created during installation of rhel-4.5. In this kernel source the directory include/asm-ppc is missing. This is the reason why I found this problem not during creation of the backport patches.
