Why is ib_sa_get_mcmember_rec being called? Or is this issue separate from what
udaddy is showing?
The IPOIB port space allows for UD interoperability between IPoIB and RDMA-CM based apps. For that end, among other params such as the mgid derivation, the qkey used for the UD QP must be the same. To achieve that, a query on the broadcast group is done to the core multicast data-base to retrieve the associated record from which the qkey is extracted. When the port goes down, this db is being flushed and ib_sa_get_mcmember_rec returns EADDRNOTAVAIL which is exactly what udaddy is getting (you can also get it with mckey).

Can you determine what call in the kernel is actually failing during the bind?
mcast_find being called from ib_sa_get_mcmember_rec

Or.
