Hmm, have you considered changing the IPoIB QPN when the LID changes? This would provide a clear signal to anyone with a cached ARP entry that it is wrong. But even so, IPoIB implicitly assumes that the LID doesn't change, by design. That SA really has to try to make that true when IPoIB is used.
