For an unkown reason, it seems the pax-logging-service latest snapshot jar (pax-logging-service-0.9.7-20071004.035947-2.jar) is a bit corrupted somehow. When I use it, I have lots of exceptions coming from the service and the output is as following:
Logger: java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException It seems the problem comes from the log4j inside it. The inner exception was a NPE thrown from a line which is empty :-( So I rebuild it from a clean state, and it looks much better.
