Niclas Hedhman commented on PAXLOGGING-31:
------------------------------------------

I have committed an initial version of this. Can you check out Pax Logging from
sources, build it and see if it works in your setup??

svn co https://scm.ops4j.org/repos/ops4j/projects/pax/logging
cd logging
mvn install

and then use the
$HOME/.m2/repository/org/ops4j/pax/logging/pax-logging-api/1.2-SNAPSHOT/pax-logging-api-1.2-SNAPSHOT.jar
and
$HOME/.m2/repository/org/ops4j/pax/logging/pax-logging-service/1.2-SNAPSHOT/pax-logging-service-1.2-SNAPSHOT.jar

in your deployment??

> Project: Pax Logging
> Issue Type: Bug
> Affects Versions: 1.1.1
> Reporter: Jens Borrmann
> Assignee: Niclas Hedhman
>
> Spring Security 2.0.2.A requires log4j version 1.2.15. Therefore it is not
> interoperable with pax logging.
> Our first hack was just modifying the exported version in the manifest of the
> api bundle, which did not work since there are some new classes in log4j.
