Pete Carapetyan commented on PAXEXAM-33: ---------------------------------------- Toni, I would enthusiastically volunteer to document this in a tutorial if I can figure out how to, and if I can get the help I need to do so in the next few days when I am working on this. I have not been successful yet even getting profile="spring-dm" to work in pax exam 0.6, much less anything else that has been done on this bug/task. The most logical sequence to tutorialize might be - create a bundle using pax construct - create a test project which consumes this new bundle using pax exam. Craig Walls already has these same required tutorials in - http://www.jroller.com/habuma/entry/pax_construct_from_zero_to and - http://www.jroller.com/habuma/entry/putting_osgi_to_the_test But they are fairly out-dated and I have not successfully got everything to work with the latest stuff, so perhaps a newer version would be in order? I am not a spring or blueprints guru but have reason to be persistent in this area until I get it all working. (Visible to Developers role) > First class support for Spring DM / Blueprint Service > ----------------------------------------------------- > > Key: PAXEXAM-33 > URL: http://issues.ops4j.org/browse/PAXEXAM-33 > Project: Pax Exam > Issue Type: New Feature > Reporter: Alin Dreghiciu > Assignee: Toni Menzel > > Pax Exam should provide first calls support for Spring DM users. > Not sure what we miss right now but I propose that we test some of the tests > from spring dm integration tests and convert them to use Pax Exam in order to > dicsover what we need more. Almost sure that we will need support for: > * specify Spring DM configuration xmls > * get ahold of ApplicationContext ? > Because OSGi Blueprint Service will be an unbranded+standartized spring DM we > will support ths. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://issues.ops4j.org/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira _______________________________________________ general mailing list general@lists.ops4j.org http://lists.ops4j.org/mailman/listinfo/general
