It is true that we have a general stability problem, which I think is
mostly due to Confluence memory leak or something to that effect.
The recent outage, though, was a deliberate attack to gain root
access, followed by an attempt that caused boot failure, and
motherboard replacement of main server.

As for the 'migrate to a more stable platform';
 - Lesson learned; Moving a lot of Wiki content is non-trivial, and
one should not select content platform without serious consideration
of 'how to move off it'.
 - Perhaps we should simply let someone manage Atlassian products for
us. Like Atlassian's own offer. Last time we checked, they couldn't
offer what we thought was minimal requirement at the time, i.e. single
sign-on and SCM credential integration. Now with a push to move off
SVN into GitHub, this may no longer be a priority, and perhaps we
should re-consider it.
