Since our jira is down the bug-request directly here: I've just experimented a little bit with the latest versions of pax-web [1.0.0-SNAPSHOT] and it seams (also with 0.8.2-SNAPSHOT) to have problems with static conent. While dynamic content is served well static content is simply not available. We also have this problem with karaf. You can check this by trying to surf to the webconsole, which is not formatting correctly (with no css found)
