Stefano Lenzi commented on PAXRUNNER-345:
-----------------------------------------

Hi All! I had such kind of issue the first time some years ago.
Nevertheless, a work-around that I used and it seems to work is to delete the
"Run as" configuration from eclipse and create it again, after that you can
start and stop the enviroment anytime without the issue

> PaxRunner can only be executed one time -
> org.ops4j.pax.scanner.ScannerException: Could not parse the provision file

> Project: Pax Runner
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: eclipse plugin
> Affects Versions: 1.3.0
> Environment: org.osgi.framework.language=de
> org.osgi.framework.os.name=WindowsXP
> org.osgi.framework.os.version=5.1.0
> java.runtime.version=1.6.0_19-b04
> osgi.framework.version=3.5.2.R35x_v20100126

> After starting Eclipse I can execute a my PAX-Runner launch-config exactly
> one time.
> If I stop the OSGi instance executed by pax-runner and try to start it again
> I get an error dialog box saying:
> "org.ops4j.pax.scanner.ScannerException: Could not parse the provision file".
> The launch config contains several bundles via Provisioning (Pax-Runner UI
> page) and three bundles that are Eclipse projects.
> Therefore the only way to use Pax-Runner in Eclipse is at the moment to
> re-start Eclipse after each Pax-Runner execution - which is very very
> time-consuming :(
