Gang, just a short announcement that the *Pax Exam 2 Project has seen its 4th RC today*. There will be the final 2.0 real soon (earliest Sunday) if no issue comes up.
*Releasenotes (lazy version this time): * http://issues.ops4j.org/browse/PAXEXAM?report=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.project:changelog-panel As with all RC versions, they are synced to Maven Central. So at best you take a look at the "Pax Exam Learn Project" at [1] and see if it works for you. This week i did not spend that much time on Pax Exam OSS, but just today flipped some final coins into the Exam2 code base like consolidate the sub-project folders and give pax-exam-swoosh a less kinky name (now its pax-exam-player). Also, i extracted the pre-built tests into its own artifact (pax-exam-testforge) because its usable by any Pax Exam "Driver", not just with pax-exam-player (former "pax-exam-swoosh"). This whole "refactoring by moving and renaming stuff" let me to the point to do another RC release, and not directly the final 2.0. - its just better to note rip off the 2.0 with the last commits ;) *Another thing from this week:* I heard a lot good responses from various channels (twitter etc) during Jax London regarding Pax Exam. Thanks to the speakers mentioning & recommending the project. Also thanks to all the re-tweets. This was not expected. ;) Lets get the 2.x era started. More on that after the 2.0 cut. (finally!) cheers, Toni [1] https://github.com/tonit/Learn-PaxExam -- *Toni Menzel - http://www.okidokiteam.com*
