You're welcomed to provide as many questions as you like (and I hope we can answer them all :)) > I've had Pax on my radar for about four years or so, but I've never really > used anything of it, mainly because most of the subprojects seemed to solve > problems I didn't have or had other solutions for, and because the Wiki was > and still is in a state to scare off a casual visitor after a few clicks. > > Yeah, I know, most of us developers would rather write code than docs, > but that's really one of the biggest problems in our business: > > http://programmer.97things.oreilly.com/wiki/index.php/Install_Me Definitely a problem for the pax-problems (and we're not proud of it :(). In defense of pax-wicket: The project was not far enough till 0.7.0 (which I released today) to scream about. So documentation what now my highest priority. With now it's running pretty stable and so the roadmap is to extend and simplify the documentation and start the "project marketing". The discussion on the wicket list just speed up the process and destroyed some of my timetables; but OK; that's life :) > > Some of my background: I created and worked on a major in-house OSGi project > in the automotive industry between 2007 and 2010, based on Equinox, Eclipse > PDE and Eclipse RCP. Welcome again to "Planet Pax" and happy that you finally give it a try!
