Hallo Otis, sorry when my question is a little studpid, but I wrote in my Mail that the example from your book worked on my PC excellent, and on my PC I am able to set the Classpath Variable "-classpath lucene-1.4.3.jar". But how to manage this on a webhosting account without root permission? Is this possible? My question is : which files should I upload to run the lucenewebdemo? the whole luceneweb directory, lucene-1.4.3.jar, and the webindex of course. # But I have an error that this directives cannot be found on my webspace: "org.apache.lucene.analysis.*, org.apache.lucene.document.*, org.apache.lucene.index.*, org.apache.lucene.search.*, org.apache.lucene.queryParser.*, org.apache.lucene.demo.*, org.apache.lucene.demo.html.Entities". I understand this that they cannot be found. And here is my question: Which files schould I also upload to solve this problem? I cannot set a Classpathvariable on a webhosting account like mycgiserver.com.
