Author: Oleg Email: Message: Hello. I am trying to create a search engine for my website website, so visitors can search through my database. In total i have around 30,000 different pages, where i would like to have only Titles searchable.
My problem is that, when i type the name and address of a server, and start indexing, it will usually skip few dozens, few hundreds and few thouthands files (.shtml). So the bigger the directory, the more files it skips. I have auto derictory indexing set in my Apache configurations. Running MySQL http://216.187.78.251/Reports/ I would think if out of 30000 pages it does index 19000, then MySQL and apache settings should be right, correct me if I am wrong please. Please, Any suggestions? I can't really run the error check, or maybe i can, but i don't know since I am running it on Win2000 Pro machine. Thanks.
