+1 on scheme #1. It's the way most other mailing lists are divided.
Hiding the name in the domain is difficult to spot - I thought you
were merging cosmo+scooby+chandler into one giant dev mailing list
there for a minute.

Hi all,
At the moment, our mailing lists are named in a confusing fashion:
we have:
'dev' -> chandler development
'cosmo' -> cosmo development
'scooby' -> scooby development
This is a historical artifact of the days when we only had one
project -- and those days are long gone. So I'd like to propose
that we rename the mailing lists is a way that is more indicative
of their purpose. Here are two possible schemes:
1. all lists are <list>@osafoundation.org, and we prefix each list
by the name of the project
dev -> [EMAIL PROTECTED]
cosmo -> [EMAIL PROTECTED]
scooby -> [EMAIL PROTECTED]
When we need end-user mailing lists (and we will):
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
[email protected] would remain the same.
2. all lists are [EMAIL PROTECTED]
dev -> [EMAIL PROTECTED]
cosmo -> [EMAIL PROTECTED]
scooby -> [EMAIL PROTECTED]
the end user lists would be:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
[email protected] would remain the same.
