It should be clear though that we won't create sandboxes for everyone popping up on the list: Soc and interns are special in the sense that we have commitments with them to make them successful.

A 4th solution BTW would be to open some specific projects on SourceForge but that puts lots of burden on the SoC students shoulders (regular merges with our trunk in particular) with little benefit others than avoiding the pre-commit hooks writing.
