Hi Folks,
Here's my general trip report on this year's OSCON: <http://
www.sauria.com/blog/2006/07/31#1540>. Beyond what I've written
there, it seems that both Jeffrey's vobject talk and the Cosmo/Scooby
talk were well received. Brian, Bobby, and Matthew put in a lot of
effort to get their slides together, and a number of people came up
to them afterwards with questions. Our BOF this year covered all
three projects in a single slot, and was pretty lightly attended,
although not as bad as last year, when scheduling problems caused us
to basically miss the BOF. A few people did ask me whether or not
we were having a full session on Chandler, so people are still out
there and interested in what is happening with Chandler. Attendance
this year was over 2000 people, and on the whole, the atomosphere was
very positive and full of energy.
Ted
