Hi,

First, thanks everyone (interns and mentors) for helping with this. It's nice to see that we do have good content and great demos to show. It was also a good idea to iron out the kinks in the presentation. Some lesson learned:

- VNC, projection and screen resolution: VNC was poor this morning but I think we discovered the reason why: I set up the screen res and color depth *before* I plugged in the projector. Unfortunately, plugging the projector resets that, in particular the color depth to millions... That was certainly the reason of the terrible perf of VNC today. Please note for your slides that the projector resolution is 800x600 pixels in thousands of colors. Take that into account when doctoring your slides (especially the pictures, I'm thinking of Markku and Ashkan here).

- Presentations: please email me a zipped version of your slides (I need Berook, Darshana and Ashkan slides). I need to create a seamless deck and count on you to send that to me asap! If you have edits to make (Vinu, Xun, Markku), please do so before tomorrow noon and email that to me as well. Thanks!

- Demos: keep them short and prepare scripts to blast through them (e.g. Vinu). The target laptop is in Grant's hands right now (working with Ernesto I think for his demo). Go to his desk today or tomorrow to set things up (Grant will be at the office tomorrow).

- Time and schedule: we (OSAF) will be going first, CC second, we'll start at 12:00 and finish at 1:00pm. I'll send a precise list with everybody's time and order of passage so we don't have people stumbling against each other during the presentation... We'll have 6 minutes per presenter with a little less than a minute in between presentations. I'll give details later.

Looks like we all have something to do to polish those presentations but it looks pretty good already.

Cheers,
- Philippe
