Katie delegated her bug to update the OSAF Website to me.

Yup, good direction.
I'd like to remove the "OSAF News" section for now. It's feasible (and
desirable) but implementation effort would take resources away from
other good works.
A link to the OSAF section of the Chandler blog instead, perhaps. If it
seems critical, the section could be hand-maintained.
The compressed-right-hand nav looks good. Alright to have what's
underneath it replaced by mostly whitespace?
* Move sub-pages that need to be updated to the wiki for ease of
maintenance.
I had a few gripes prepared here, given the desire to have OSAF stuff be
OSAF's not Chandler Project's (basically that the people page shouldn't
move and that either way it's helpful for people to be able to determine
who's paid by OSAF). But the momentum seems strong here, so I'll just
roll with it.
I've got the action item right now to implement the update to the site.
I'm tracking it and will ensure a better design is up in time.
I probably won't zap old pages in svn so much as replace index.html and
tweak just a couple other things. Same effect for the end user in
seeing a new landing page and all the links on it work.
* *Add link to OSAF Community?*
I'd probably skip it. (This is Chandler Project community not "OSAF"
community, right?) Fewer links better I think; there shouldn't be so
much info that people accidentally use www.osafoundation.org as the home.
*Updated 'Today'*
As of 2007, OSAF has a staff of 25 contributors and is working furiously
towards the Preview Release.
I agree with Ted on these; the OSAF voice on www.osafoundation.org
should probably be timeless and just skip any "currently" type traps.
