I have taken over pulling together the Known Issues. This is what I have thus far: http://chandlerproject.org/Projects/KnownIssues

There is still a lot of work to be done, but I have some questions to answer before I can proceed any further.

DESKTOP
Sheila nominated a number of Desktop bugs to remove from the known issues list, even though they had been tagged with the relnote keyword. Philippe, please review the bugs in the NIX list and advise as to how these should be dealt with. I'm also assuming that bugs that have been marked as FIXED or WORKSFORME should not be included on the known issues page.

SERVER
There are only 4 bugs tagged with the relnote keyword. However, I've managed to conjure up a lengthy list of known issues anyway. I figure that people will generally be curious about:
1. How the web app is different from Chandler Desktop
2. There are a number of 'issues' that we're aware of but never logged as bugs because they were never in the 0.7 plan.

Ted/Katie
+ Does this sound like the right approach?
+ I'm also not really equipped to compile Known Issues for Chandler Server (as opposed to Chandler Hub usage scenarios). Should this be tracked as a separate task?

BUGS TO REMOVE FROM DESKTOP KNOWN ISSUES
NIX
* Bug#2497 - Send' doesn't change to 'Send to New' when you add invitees to a shared collection
      * Mimi do you even want to mention this?
   * Bug#1237 - Block Demo: Controls view popup menu is empty
* I don't think we even have this menu item anymore do we? It was closed as won't fix but I didn't know why it was relnoted. * Bug#9478 - "Mailbox does not exist" message on syncing mail into Chandler * This bug was resolved but I think there is still some user issue that they might run into this. I don't quite understand if it's simply an artifact of using the old ini files and people won't realistically run into it anymore. I put in on the list for us to talk about since I wasn't sure if it was worth logging.

This was never a bug but a usability issue. The term "Mailbox does not exist" comes from the IMAP server. Chandler tried to access a mailbox ie. "Chandler Folder" that no longer existed on the server because it was deleted outside of Chandler (In an IMAP client). This is standard IMAP stuff however it would be nice if Chandler could offer a more user friendly error message.

* Bug#7185 - Mailcap file /etc/mailcap, line 40: incomplete entry ignored. when opening XRC dialog
      * Resolved invalid...not sure if we want to relnote
   * Bug#8231 - Unified strategy for dealing with prompts and warnings
      * I don't remember why we relnoted this
* Bug#9046 - Sharing Error when using Restore Settings to upgrade from Alpha 4 for Trunk * This was closed and addressed with better migration instructions. I am assuming we don't need to do anything else. * Bug#7158 - Sharing should catch Zanshin exception instead of outputting a Traceback
       * Closed as won't fix

(Explain in Get Started Guide instead)
   * Bug#9342 - Can't send email to non-osaf accounts
* This is not a bug but I didn't know I had to check authentication. We should probably put this in the FAQ, GetStarted Guide...not sure where.
