Highlights:
The test/fix cycle for Cosmo dashboard/detail view and roundtrip
desktop/server interactions (especially wrt triage and edit/update) are
on the critical path. Consequences:
+ We have daily qa sessions planned around cosmo and rountrip testing
+ We're scheduling a QA session at OSCON (more info tbd)
+ Desktop features (apart from sharing) aren't getting much attention
from QA team
OSCON has begun, which means that the "soft launch" has begun.
+ Ted should have the launch cards
+ From OSCON, encourage people to try downloads and logins from
http://chandlerproject.org/
+ qacosmo is available for demo/test usage, with regular updates from
the qa team
Wiki/website work is coming together.
+ Tracking non-code deliverables in bugzilla
+ Mimi is handling known issues and feature lists, but will need some
assistance from Philippe and Ted
Have spare cycles? *Here's how you can help*:
+ Join daily qa sessions (particularly helpful if you have your head
around triage, edit/update, and/or dashboard features)
+ Verify desktop bugs (big help to QA team)
+ Walk through the website/wiki looking for broken links, wording
problems, etc. Fix the wiki. Log bugs against wiki/website. ("OSAF"
product; "chandlerproject.org" or "osafoundation.org" as component).
+ Take bugs from people with longer bug lists
+ Dogfood the apps, and/or "mock" dogfood against qa cosmo
Cheers,
Katie
