100% agreed.

My leading suggestion for this situation has been "use includes".

We *should* have *current* known issues and release notes pages with a URL that doesn't change. One should also have release-specific notes.

To get both, I've moved the Chandler Server release notes to "Projects/CosmoReleaseNotesZeroDotSeven", and updated the ReleaseNotes page to include that page instead. So these pages both work:

http://chandlerproject.org/Projects/ReleaseNotes
http://chandlerproject.org/Projects/CosmoReleaseNotesZeroDotSeven

without any cut-and-paste.

My current opinion is that this approach is somewhat easier and more flexible than updating the redirect to point to different pages as we update releases.
