Random pointer to Yet Another PIM-related service; this one focused on
families:
www.cozi.com
And a quick blog post describing how kids adapt to usage of the
interface for family scheduling:
http://blogs.cozi.com/coziconnection/2007/09/its-hard-to-bel.html
Notable to me:
* Very nice homepage. The boundaries on the page help the page design
work visually when centered, and all the buttons/next-user-actions are
very clear. Basic design carried through all pages.
* Offers major features of a home page, calendars, shopping lists,
messages, and a screen saver(!).
* Offer both a hosted service and downloadable version.
* Syncs with Outlook (uses an Outlook toolbar). Also supports "send via
email" to "electronic calendars such as Hotmail, Google, etc" and "send
to phone".
* Nice "upcoming events" display
Nothing specific to followup on. I thought the blog post was reasonably
interesting, and just cataloguing other product efforts to hit the
"small group collaboration" space seemed worth this email.
